All Fall & Spring fertilizer plans include a pre-emergent to help prevent winter & spring weeds. Pre-emergent is your best defense again weed germination when your lawn goes dormant for the winter. The primary target for pre-emergent is crab grass and poa annua, which are prevalent in almost all lawns without treatment.

Here’s an example of a yearly fertilizer schedule for bermuda lawns. You could substitute any application as needed to adjust your cost.

Will your price change depending on my lawn size?
The pricing will not change up to a 5,000 sq ft yard. If your yard is larger we will give you a custom quote based on measurement.
How does your fertilization program compare to Trugreen or Gecko Green?
Other fertilization services put very minimal treatments on your yard. Lobo Lawn Care maximizes your value by putting a custom heavy application that is guaranteed to show a visual difference on your lawn. We adjust our treatments quarterly to give you the right products at the right time.
Trugreen & Gecko Green offer you an attractive first time treatment price. But that requires signing up for long-term treatment plans at a much higher price. Our service does not require annual contracts and we offer up-front pricing. We recommend fertilizing 4 times a year at a minimum. But your budget can dictate your frequency. You can even change to a different treatment plan depending on the time of year to save money.
What about the quality of products you use?
We developed a custom program for bermuda lawns using a mix of specialized fertilizer products that are all of high quality. Our granular fertilizer brands might vary based on the time of year. Our liquid fertilizer treatments are professional lawn applications and are not available in big box stores.
What if I have a lot of weeds in my yard?
If your yard is covered by more than 50% weeds we will need to make some adjustments for pricing and your application. Heavy weeds usually require multiple applications. Contact us for a custom quote.
